I don't know which one is hurr durp.

I like the newer pskarre model. The old one is mannish.

I like the old pSkarre model. I will agree that as a sculpt it belongs to a simpler, 2D time.

eGrissel looks good too.

Still hoping that Vayl has a two piece torso so that the pose can be adjusted. Either way, still love the model.

I have to agree on the elves and the girls. They don't usually look all that great. The Saeryn model is disguting. I hate that she has such an ugly model, but her usage in the game on the other hand is a whole different story.

The Nyss Hunter chick is an ok model, it's her motley crew of leering puffy faced companions that bring the ugly.

Grissel's new epic model is awesome sauce compared to what her prime version looks like. Leaps and bounds better.

Vayl.... eh. Not too impressed. I like a few of the Legion casters, but mostly I'm indifferent.

As for Nyss Hunters, I kind of hate 'em all. I had to put together a unit for a buddy once, and that was probably the last time I'm ever touching the damn things.

The Nyss Hunter figs are pretty good I think if you ignore their heads. I swapped the heads on mine out with Dark Eldar and it's a massive improvement.

Yet her twin's model is gorgeous but lackluster in game(from what I hear), so I guess they balance out.

I guess I'm in the rare camp that likes epic Vayle. The original sculpt is nice- a cold aristocratic woman observing as her minions fight and die- but this new one is far more active. She looks more like a sorceress now, conjuring her magic and evoking the mystical power of Everblight. She is posed somewhat awkwardly, but unlike some of the other awkwardly posed models, I can comprehend it since she is manipulating those floating spheroids and casting some sort of magical spell.

As for grissel, It's sculpted well enough but just another filthy troll to be stomped.

i was really hoping for grim angus as the new epic wlock for trolls... hes so badass it hurts...
but i guess even more infantry buffing is also nice.

Yeah, I quite like Vayl. Grissel is nicely done, I suppose, but something about PP's Trollbloods has just never appealed to me.

I like everything about the Vayl sculpt except the fact that she's leaning forward a bit. It looks awkward. I will be cutting her at the torso and leaning her back into an upright position.

Yeah, she does look a bit like she's juggling. Not a lot, but a little. As long as you don't paint the Oraculii like juggling balls you're golden

Do you mean that the sculptor intended for us to think of juggling when we saw her? Shrug, maybe. With her leaning forward she looks less like she's getting ready to magically throw one of the Oraculii at a critter and more like she's getting ready to blow out a candle on a birthday cake.

Don't get me wrong, I love the sculpt. I love the idea of her having the Oraculii spinning around her. I just think she's positioned wrong for what I imagine her doing... And I don't want people to paint each ball a different color and have her juggling

It looks to me like the torso is a separate piece from the legs. I'm excited It might not take three hours of work to reposition her.

I like the Vayl, but not the Grissel. Then again never been a fan of the trolls anyway.

The pose is awkward, though could probably be used for a conversion.
