Terminator Armor always comes with a 5+ invul save in addition to 2+ armor. 5++ will fail 4 out of 6 times.

So yeah back to not bad but meh for the points.

I'm back to sort of the same conclusion, if they were Assault 3, had a boss pole/klaw option, and cost 35 instead of 40 points kitted out, they would be an option but as is just not worth it.

20 shots * BS2 * Wound on 2+ * (5++ or 2+ Armor)
-> AP rolls 1-3 would be 20 * (2/6) * (5/6) * (4/6), resulting in 3.70
-> AP rolls 4-6 would be 20 * (2/6) * (5/6) * (1/6), resulting in 0.92#

You math for the first result seems to have some rounding errors, and you seem to apply armor and invulnerability to the second result. You can only ever take a single save against any wound.

I have only been playing for about two months now so I am still kinda learning this stuff.
