As soon as it stops raining (rain is all we've had here all winter...) I'll start spraying the new stuff and get cracking with the brushes. So, hopefully, in the next couple of days there will be a Commissar for you to enjoy.

Just a quick update:
The weather outside is still gak (though we did get a good 5 mm of snow yesterday), so no spraying. Luckily I primed my Platoon Command a good while back, and I'm almost finished with them.
But for now I'm taking a break with Dragon Age: Origins.

Dude they are possibly the best guard i have ever seen. They look like better than the current vostroyan models!

I am really liking the look and feel of this regiment ... keep up the good work!

Good scheme and I agree with someone else who said that they look better than the current Vostroyan models.

I'll pose them up with my Hellhound as soon as it's finished, then. My army will mostly consist of infantry, though.

And speaking of tanks... I am having a hard time deciding what colour the main hull should be. Should I paint them white to match the armour of the infantry or should I leave it in the blue-grey of the fatigues?

I think you really need to maintain some of that blue-grey you are already using, snow covered tracks are a must as if you use a mud like brown it will look too much like the other parts of your men's uniforms.

IMHO maybe you could go for a lighter blue with more grey for the armour so maintaining the same scheme but not such an obvious target in a white snow covered environment?
