My personal secret lair

I have a homemade chapter. The Knights of Light. I did consider crimson fists because I like to play scout heavy armies but ended up making up a color scheme of my own and fluff for the chapter.

I shall rule the world someday utilizing my cuteness. And I already have one minion to help me do it!

Of course it makes sense. When there are a bunch of BDSM clowns doing Olympic gymnast routines throughout your unit, while also cutting off heads, you tend to get a bit distracted.

I see quite a few custom armies out there. Part of the reason people choose existing chapters isn't just fluff, it's painting too. It's easier to find a painting and modeling guide for say Imperial Fists than Purple Cuniform Warriors of the Emperors Mighty Lost Crusade on Alderaan. Masterclasses from GW,FW, and the interwebz gaming community are abundant for the core armies.
I play standard Blood Angels and am branching into Flesh Tearers and Angels Sanguine. Roughly 10,000 points of standard GW armies. I started a Crimson Fist Army about a year ago, and when ever it's done will be about 2500 points more of core fare. But my Eldar, those are my creative army. They started as a standard Saim Hann wild host and then I decided, wait I already have a massive army of blood red. So now they are purple, gold, and probably a sky blue. I'll probably use some iconography associated with the Saim Hann like the cosmic snake, but for all intents and purposes it's a unique army that happens to subscribe to similar methodology as Saim Hann without BEING them.

You see, to Auston, everyone is a Death Star; there's only one way you can take it and that's through a small gap at the back.

Come check out my Blood Angels,Crimson Fists, and coming soon Eldar

I have conceded that the Eldar page I started in P&M is their legitimate home. Free Candy! Updated 10/19.

Hello all,
Sorry if I'm posting in this thread and it's too old, but I read it all and am hoping to do a similar write up. Would the place to post my DIY chapter's fiction be in the fiction thread or where? I'm looking to post the rough Draft of my fiction, and my army list and modeling ideas, for criticism/input. I plan to eventually rewrite it into a 10-20 page story, and maybe someday a book like 100-200 pages.
I'm doing a "fists" chapter, and will use Pedro Kantor (renamed) as chapter master, and Lysander (renamed) as 1st Co. Capt. I will use fist Iconography in my own color scheme, similar looking to the Sgt. with bolter on the top center of C:SM page 112. I'm going darker than UM blue, lighter than most Crimson Fists, with a baby blue trim and accents... The Company markings will be represented by the color of the roman numeral for the sqd. #...
I think my FLUFF is coming along pretty well, and it fits in with the army list I'm going to be doing too. anyways, I have a DIY chapter, and will soon begin work on the Fluff to go with my wife's ORKS.

thanks for posting, hope I get this many replies.
