Fleury is also peaking too. One cup and two appearances ain't to shabby. That Neal guy is on fire at the moment despite being a -2. Him on the wing with Crosby or Malkin at centre will be a hard line to contend with. I don't know about the cup predictions yet, but it is safe to say that the Pens and the Caps are on a collision course.
Crystal ball says Pens.

My pool is LA heavy this week - Jonathan Quick has been goddamn amazing - 6 games to date, 5 of them wins, 3 of those are shutouts. I'm hoping for big points!

Any line with Crosby will be hard to contend with UNTIL Crosby gets layed out one time and he will be back at home with another concussion.
Sadly, I predict his return will be short lived: The game moves too fast and hits are too hard for those with concussion history to stay in the game me thinks...
Well, I was going to go to the bar and watch the Blues (hopefully) stomp the Canucks....But Game 6 of the World Series is tonight. There goes that idea :/

Go Rangers! (The Texas kind, not the NY kind).
So does Chicago have a decent team this year? I get to go to Chicago for work quite a bit and I enjoy live hockey games (though I don't know what's going on).

Psh, come on. You know you need Hockey more than Baseball.

I've always found Chicago to be a pretty fast, pretty well rounded team. I think they'll do good this year.

People actually find baseball fun to watch and/or play?

Ya, I know. Wierd...
Also: I'm thinking Cory Sneider will be getting the next start for Vancouver after a solid performance against Edmonton. After swapping with Flopberto, he helped bring the team to within 1 goal to push OT. While they still lost, gawdayum, Schneids made some boss saves. This one in particular had me squealing in glee like a little girl:
Also, he's got the best Jannik Hansen impression:

Trust me, I'd rather watch hockey!!!....Luckily the game was cancelled for tonight due to weather, so the bar should be playing hockey instead
And I agree about the Blackhawks...sure I despise them, but I've always respected them.

Gotta love have a girlfriend obsessed with baseball haha.
Tell her hockey is moar bettar, and then show her that SI spread that Ryan Kesler did

She'll convert. Just you wait.
....I think you're on to something
And wow, "Gotta love have a girlfriend"? Really? Where are my proof-reading skills?
Wild beat out Schneider and the Canucks 5-1, but Hamhuis put us on the board with a pretty nice little flip into the net at only 2:20 into the first. Volpatti's fight was a bit dull - He threw one good punch that caught Staubitz off balance and put him down. Would've liked to see more of an exchange there. Both Schneids and Harding put in a good show, but it looks like the 'Nucks defense just wasn't ready to play. Not nearly enough agression for a team with as many fast skaters as Minnesota.

I have the team feed on my FB page, and Coach V was quoted as saying that we were beat 5-1 and our best player was our goalie... I havent been able to see much in the way of highlights, or the game itself (being in europe and all), so I have no idea how we really looked.

I'm really looking forward to the winter classic this year, I'm a huge ranger fan. I think they've been doing pretty good this season. I'm also one of the few people who doesn't care if Avery plays again. he's a good personality but is average on the ice
