Ahh...I gotcha! I was making some Plague Marines with meltas just a few minutes ago I must have had melta on the brain!
As for ignoring posts, heck I do it all the time. Sometimes I read the first few and reply. If I have the time to read the whole thread I will but people get lazy...
Stilll corpsesarefun was talking about Uncharted 3's multiplayer.

007 Goldeneye should be the only game with a 10/10 in my opinion. Everything else should maybe have a 9.9/10.

I don't trust game sites, much. Lost Planet 2 is my favorite TPS, and they said 5.3 at GameSpot.
Don't trust a site, good or bad.

I honestly want to see a review site where they don't give a score, they just talk about it. It would seem that would be a preferred format, but no, it's always just a number that displays the opinion. But I bet you that Modern Warfare 3 AND Battlefield 3 will receive high 9's or a perfect 10 despite if it has numerous flaws.

How does one say "10/10" in Russian? The answer is "Tetris".

The only "review" site I take seriously is Metacritic.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - 89/100. Spot on, I'd say.
Mass Effect 2 - 94/100. Again, basically correct.
Red Dead: Redemption - 95/100. Pretty accurate, was an excellent game when you compare it to GTA.
If you think ME2 was a mediocre game, I don't know what to say to you...maybe you don't like games that are more focused on the lore/story than the gameplay?
The combat WAS repetitive at times, but it seems that will be resolved in ME3 with MUCH needed improvements, such as a defined melee system, smoother cover transition (I major gripe I had was that you had to crouch behind a barrel/crate before you leaped over it), and you basically have the perfect game.

Uh, hello? Hands down... Bejeweled. Great story, graphics, game play, AND nudity.
RE: Uncharted series
The first game of the series that I tried was part 2 at a buddies house. I was pretty impressed. I didn't get too far into the game because there was a fight on that we were there to watch.
When I got a PS3 a year or 2 later I got the edition that came with Uncharted 2... at first it was unopened because I'm going through other games/stuff.
On a whim one time I tried a demo of part 1. Total 180 for me... I just couldn't get into it. I pushed through as far as I could in the demo, hoping that something will happen that will have me liking it as much as part 2. I ended up turning it off when I got to what seemed like a gauntlet of bad guys that seemed to constantly respawn and no matter what I did they wouldn't stop coming. It seemed totally different from part 2.
I haven't tried part 3 yet but the demo of part 1 sort of soured me to the series. I may never play part 3. In fact the demo of part 1 is another reason I don't want to open part 2. I'm afraid there may have been some mistake and maybe part 2 was never as good as I thought it was and the play through at my buddies' place was all fantasy. When I hear 'Uncharted', I always hear 'demo of part 1'.

I think that when the game puts a lot of focus on just talking then yes I don't enjoy it. I liked LA Noire only because I had to read their faces and it was more like a puzzle game compared to ME2 where you pretty much just chose conversation choices to just talk.
And mining, oh yes mining planets, such great fun.
Seriously, the game felt like a CoD with speech options.

I don't know....
I could play a game that requires me to think about how I am going to survive from encounter to encounter (Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Castlevania) and forces me to engage in an activity and actually Involve myself....
Or I could play an interactive Choose Your Own Adventure Movie....
Also, Bioshock had a focus on Lore and Gameplay, but was still great. The Elder Scrolls series has a HUGE emphasis on lore, and yet still is engrossing enough to play. Hell, the Gears of War series has better gunplay and story over the Mass Effect series, the ONLY thing that the Mass Effect series has that is going for it is carrying over your saves.
If I want a Video Game, I'll play a game. If I want Cinematics, I'll go to the Cinema.

Ehh I liked UC2, but a perfect 10 for the series? Someone at IGN got paid pretty well for that. Then again all IGN reviews are suspect, so who knows with them.
As for ME2 being good? I don't think so, it was actually a massive step backwards I thought.
All the environments were linear, suddenly chest high walls appeared everywhere instead of fighting with the natural surroundings and the story was just non-existent for the most part. There were what, maybe three main missions that dealt with the Collectors and the rest were companion missions.
It could be called Side Quest the game honestly, because that's where I spent the majority of my time. Hell I didn't even see how the Collectors were a real threat except maybe towards the end, they barely appeared at all. Oh yeah and the downsizing of the Citadel was a damn shame.

Also, pretty much everyone is giving UC3 perfect, or near perfect scores.

None of those games have got 10/10 reviews.

Sometimes when you play games long after they have came out you end up not liking them where you could have liked them when they first released.
The game Ico was like that for me. I could tell that I would have liked the game years ago but there are aspects to the game that didn't age well. Resistance 1 is like that as well. I have gotten used to autosave checkpoint system in modern first person shooters. Resistance had it but the length in-between each checkpoint was insane. You could kill 200 baddies and if you died on 201 you had to go back and do it all over.
Regardless Uncharted 2 is still a great game and way better than the first. I would compare the difference to Assassin's Creed 1 &2. AC2 was way better and if you hated AC 1 you should try the second one anyways.

I really hope there's co-op in UC3. The co-op survival modes in UC2 were my favourite parts of the game.
