then there was the good old 3 tervigons and max termaguants list
or the melta land speeder spam
but the crown jewel goes to the max conscript army, SOO MANY TROOPS
its hard to plan with as you never know what will be on the other side of that table.
plus we run a house rule that cover saves granted by a unit are counted as hits to said unit, even from freindlies. This removed any Kan Walls kroot screens and wraith walls from the list. They also make deathstars hard.

Unless you're the kind of guy who scopes out his list, and then you pull one of 5 lists, specifically the rock to beat his scissors , or your paper to beat his rock, etc.

no we play on the spot writen lists 15 min. then a hard submit. no change.
Its good right now because we have new armies but slowly we will wittle down to 5-7 good lists that are competitive against any of his 5-7 lists

ok to weigh in on the matter with your local meta bing mostly MEQ you will need plasma that goes without saying how ever you will also have daemons and i guess orks
so bring a mix or weaponry on the suits.

3 man blade storm teams will help with the daemons
and fire knives will help with the MEQ MP for transports PR for troops
FB pirhana will be great as the AV11 protects them from bolters in the front so use them on the flanks or with blocking against faster units your hammer heads will be great VS the hoards submunitions will rip them apart

fireknife on the HQ team if you have them with TA
bladestorm on two of your elites
and the last squad BC MP

this gives you balance the BC will work in tandum with plasma against orcs/deamons and you MP PR will help thin there transports and kill those defkoptas

in regard to necrons WIPE THEM OUT a squad at a time this way WBB is trimmed down you will have to concentrait fire for this if you kill the entire squad the troop do no get the WBB roll at all only the lord with a phylactery can get back up or they need to have another troop within 6in and only those troop get to roll so if you combine fire you will be more effective at limited there ability to get back up as long as your dice dont hate you and your target priority is sound you ill eat these guys up.

on the volume argument can Tau volume kill sure not like other but we can do it MP BC give you 5 shots a suit 15 from a squad on average thats more than most infantry will shoot a turn, but make no mistake we dont volume like eldar and others its more about having enough variety and mobility to combine it together against most opponents

besure to check out the crisis mathammer thread its great to get a handle on the probability of inflicting wounds made me a believe in the bladestorm for anti-infantry our local orc player HATES that combo
