Do the Finecast models still melt in sunlight?

I don't want to spend $40 on Gazz just to have him turn into a lump while I'm on a smoke break.

'Melt' is probably the wrong word. No one's had a Failcost model turn into a puddle of goo just 'cause it's hot outside. Wilting - that's certainly possible though.

Nice attempt at dismissing criticism.

I've had one miscast metal model - a Raptor that literally had no back. Just ugly bubbles. Friend of mine rebuilt it using GREEN STUFF. That's one mistake in God knows how many years.

I don't think anyone's forgetting the quality of GW's metals. But the sheer scale and severity of the the issues with the initial Finecast release somewhat over-shadowed it.

And the biggest problem with GW's metals was always the poor fit-together of multi-part figures... which is one of the things that Finecast isn't going to fix, since the models are being made from the same masters.
