No they are from the baneblade.

Than why are they on the Rhino shown as having new armor without any disclaimer to that effect? It's a pretty fundamental difference. They're always clear that chapter-specific doors and such are not included, but there is no such disclaimer here.

In any event, I have some BB bitz around here and I'm totally rocking that on my next Rhino.

No rules, no cares.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

I really like these new 'old' rhinos. They're mighty tempting.

Its a shame FW isn't still doing just the conversion kits for tanks. While it comes with a rhino kit, sometimes I don't need it.

No, I wasn't being clear. I know you are - I recognize the part. Just wondering why they'd put a kitbash up so prominently without indicating such.

What's Machinator's version?

I think this old skool Rhino looks pretty good. As for the extra armour, I think it's high time that GW just bit the bullet and did extra armour in plastic, and included it in the Rhino, Razorback and Predator kits. In the process they could do a new Predator glacis plate, as it's always been odd that a vehicle with AV 13 front armour has the same glacis as the basic AV 11 Rhino.

Like the extra armor, but are they going to redo the spaced armor? The old Style Rhino is tempting. I don't need to do a pre heresy army, just have it as the dedicated transport for the kind of loon that would keep an antique running (or build one out of vanity).

the pintle mount is meant for a rhino where the turret is not an option or hindrance. this case is just an example of bad assembly and a complete lack of understanding of how the kit is supposed to work. its easily possible to mount the bolter on the turret instead...

+1 to that

can i buy a moderator or is it more of a backroom deal?

I imagine the mods are individuals with different likes, dislikes biases for and against. Kinda like the rest of us posters.

Personally I think the CH kit is decent, but I much prefer the FW version. I've also got my unassembled originals that I'll be using for some old-school armies shortly, but I wouldn't be opposed to adding either of the retro kits to one of my forces.

I just ordered three of the armours. I probably could do them myself but this kit works fine for me and I want the turret armour for my future Bloodangels Predators.

Nice armour kits! I hope they bring out the spaced armour again, that stuff was cool!

A question for you all. Am I just being very ignorant or have I never seen that automated LC turret before, I searched around but did not come across it.

You've just never seen it. It's the Lascannon Razorback turret that FW sells.
