I think that one more than any others brought grimdark to kids programming...but in a silly sort of way...they blended cartoniness with grittiness well...too bad it went the route of most and progressively got crappier as it went...
This is why Phineas and Ferb is hilarious. They do stuff like this all the time
And so, due to rising costs of maintaining the Golden Throne, the Emperor's finest accountants spoke to the Demigurg. A deal was forged in blood and extensive paperwork for a sub-prime mortgage with a 5/1 ARM on the Imperial Palace. And lo, in the following years the housing market did tumble and the rate skyrocketed leaving the Emperor's coffers bare. A dark time has begun for the Imperium, the tithes can not keep up with the balloon payments and the Imperial Palace and its contents, including the Golden Throne, have fallen into foreclosure. With an impending auction on the horizon mankind holds its breath as it waits to see who will gain possession of the corpse-god and thus, the fate of humanity......
I also enjoyed the fact that Billy had the blue and white Marilyn Manson makeup on in that episode.

Muriel's cousin...escaped from the looney bin for malevolent shaving...
Automatically Appended Next Post: Simpsons used to be pretty good though. Now though, they try to be too much like Family Guy, and it has just cheapened the memory

I sort of liked them towards the middle, oldest stuff was kind of meh and so is the newest; has been for a while.
Family guy was funny pretty much only once. It was more of an inside joke for us as it's accurate to how I fly helicopters in Battlefield. Everything else I fly perfectly (stunts, off the ground by a foot and upside down, whatever), but in that game I have to stay in the passenger seat or walk.
Hmm, yeah, grew up watching spongebob. Haven't really watched it in years, but I've seen many of the episodes enough times to last in memory for a lifetime.
I'd say my favorite episode of all time is Wet Painters, followed by Shanghaied.
