Pepsi and yoghurt flavour... I feel compelled to try this if I can. Call it morbid fascination.

The cucumber flavor looks like carbonated Scope.

On the plus side, White Cherry Powerade is actually pretty good.

I'll have to try that. I used to drink grape Gatorade and vodka in college, though that was mostly because grape was my favorite Gatorade flavor, so I had lots of it on hand. When mixed with vodka that stuff tastes like Dimetap.

I only drink Rum with nyquil chasers.

I also like snorting salt, squeezing a lime directly onto my eyeball and then drinking a half pint of tequila in one go.

Well... if it's a slow day in the office anyway.

We are arming Syrian rebels who support ISIS, who is fighting Iran, who is fighting Iraq who we also support against ISIS, while fighting Kurds who we support while they are fighting Syrian rebels.

Polar bears don't cotton to no darkies (grizzly bears).

Actually, Grolar Bears do exist and they're just a bit bigger than Grizzlies.

What confuses me is why people think the icecaps melting will cause all polar bears to drown, I was under the impression that the icecaps partially melted yearly and in that time the polar bears move to solid land so surely they can just move a bit south and live in the Arctic circle?

From what I understand it's the loss of habitat for their main prey, so they're more likely to starve than drown as populations dwindle in their food supplies.

It's a huge simplification. The Ice+Water ecosystem is necessarily to sustain the food chain they are perched atop. There is also a greater loss of bears due to being stranded on icepacks that float away from land too far. But the first is WAY bigger than the second. The second is just what gets airtime.

Ok, I can tolerate bad puns and off topic climate change conversation in my White Can Coke topic, but I will not put up with FETHING PEPSI in my thread!

Keep that gak out!

@corpses: I believe the bears need to go onto the ice to hunt and eat the delicious baby seals. There's not much forage for a polar bear on the tundra (land).

Makes sense, though if they can successfully breed with brown bears they can just integrate into the ecosystem farther south can't they?

Well this really needs it's own thread, so this is the last post I'll make here about it, but there are a few things.

1. There have only been 2 or 3 documented living grolar bears. So it's not super easy.
2. MAYBE they could, but breeding is a strange thing, maybe they still can't find a niche, who can say?
3. If they did that, they wouldn't really be polar bears anymore. Polar bears would still be extinct, GROLAR bears would be integrating down south.

I guess.

To be honest I don't really care if the polar bears go extinct, having polar icecaps isn't exactly the norm for earth anyway.

Wouldn't the grolars also be sterile?

Grizzlies and polar bears are pretty closely related AFAIK so it's plausible grolar bears can breed.

I can't believe there's an ACTUAL White Power-ade. That blows my mind.

What's next? 'Arbeit Macht Fries'? 'Thousand Year Reichscream'?

Hmm... I think I can come up with some better nazi-themed food puns than those... Dakka Brain Trust, ASSEMBLE!

Wait...

If Polar Bears and Grizzly Bears can breed and produce a fertile offspring, doesn't that mean that they're the same species? They just have different hair color.

So, Polar Bears really aren't endangered, because there's plenty of Grizzly Bears around.
