I think I agree. While a "scythe" type list scares the crap out of me as a DE player, I think that has more to do with the fact that Tesla Destructors stack up so nicely against my flying cardboard than anything else.

Against most other opponents, I think you're better with wraith/scarab spam with cryptek-backed lychguard support. YMMV.

mercer,
The list is solid for holding your own on the field, but it lacks the punch you can add to a necron list. You have very good anti infantry shooting power and anti MC with mid-high str shots. You do have a ton of av 13 hulls, but the hulls do not crack open other vehicles, you will suppress them to no end. But you need to add more teeth to your list. I have read your reports before and I respect you as a player, but I feel this is not of your better lists you have written. I would not be afraid of this list across the board from me, necrons should impose that.

Are you been serious?

I will be doing in kill point games. They are broken up into units of 5 for objective games.

I think I'll be putting at least one on.

I haven't tried this list tbh, but it's not massively different from the list I put up a week ago, which every digged. That list has got 7 vehicles and this one 8, only 1 more. There isn't a massive difference in between the two lists, besides the Stalkers. Definitely no point putting shredders on the Stalkers, I got them for anti tank shooting

Just remember; spamming vehicles doesn't always make a list competitive. Honestly I think the Necrons strengths lie outside of vehicle spam; they don't play like DE, Any marine list, IG, etc.

If the rumors of 6th's missions are true I think that was intentional.

Vehicles will always make a strong list because mech is strong in the game at the moment. With regards to vehicle spam, this list has ONE more vehicle than my previous list, which as mentioned, everyone loved. All I've done in this list is dropped a swarm, command barge and court from the previous list and added in two Stalkers and more Immortals. I think it will do ok, but I am biased, I will be running it tonight and report in.

TBF most things scare D.E cardboard planes .

Wraiths and Scarabs are cool, Lychguard I like, but have delivery problems. I wouldn't say they are a competitive choice.

I don't know man. I compared this to my Blood Angels list which does ok, and that list at range as 8 lascannons and the Vindicator templates, so I tried to match that. This list has the four multi melta shots, the three Cryptek shots and then the double Barges making it 7 ranged units firing, that's not bad. I think this list will be better than people give credit for. I will report in on Monday as I am testing it tonight

To all the doubters, just beat razorwolves with long fangs support in kill points with this list .
