Mindshackle Scarabs do not cause a model to get all of it's attacks against it's own unit. It is only a d3 hits.

Mindshackles allow you to use the abilities of any weapon the person is weilding and Khorne daemon weapon's have a special ability is to toss in an additional 2d6 attacks, on top of the d3.

Yes, Khorne Daemon Weapons get an additional 2d6 attacks. However, since you deal d3 hits (not attacks) you are past the point where you would get the bonus attacks.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

If they roll a 1 on those d3 attacks.. does the daemon weapon rule come into effect? Dealing 1 wound to myself and disallowing ANY attacks from hitting?

No, because all you do is roll to wound. The "attacks" already hit d3 times.

You "hit" once; you did not roll a 1 on your D6 additional attacks

The solar pulse you can have a maximum of 3 (imotekh and 2 in the court (if you use different combinations on the cryptek) ) and with the staves all units within 18" take difficult and you can have up to 5 in a court. add c'tan to this and you will spend a hell of a lot of points but you will kill alot of stuff. this is a b!tch to destroy because of night fighting and lord of the storm rules.

Incorrect....Imotekh does not have a Solar Pulse so the max you can have is 2 and if you use the Pulse to clear the night you don't get the Lightning Stikes from Imotekh. The Solar Pulses are there to keep your opponent under night fighting once Imotekh's storm stops. Tremorstaves are 36", strength 4, AP -, Blast weapons that only affect the unit(s) they hit, not all units within its range.

As for dealing with it? There are ways but, as a Necron player myself, I'll leave you to figure it out for yourself. After all, we can't give all of our secrets away, now can we.

Are you thinking of the old codex because now solar pulse gives the night fighting rule. It does not lift it. also imotekhs lord of the storm rule works whenever night fighting is in play.

But actually you can have 4 solar pulses not including imotekh because if you read the specifications it says you may have up to any amount of harbingers of the same type but they must be equipped diferently. This in one court. so that allows to take 2 courts completely identical and get 4 solar pulse (not including imotekh) to kepp lightning in play for the game.

The uginator - erm, wrong. It does both. Try reading the entry....

No, you are STILL wrong. It says that wargear OPTIONS may not be duplicated. Solar Pulse is a wargear option, so this may not be duplicated within the same Court

Have you even read the codex?

Read the last line of Imotekh's "Lord of the Storm" rule, and the rules for the solar pulse, and reconsider this statement.

+1 to what Monster Rain said. Please go read the new codex.

You can never have 4 solar pulses. Two is a maximum for normal FOC games.

You need to give us a subject.

Which "thing" are we discussing?

Certainly not The Lord of the Storm rule or the number of Solar Pulses allowed in the army, I should hope.
