It's a short codex, what did you expect?

It never has been. Sisters have always had very few options going back to their original codex. C:WH gave more options if you wanted to include inquisition or guard, but that wasn't sisters. This Codex is about on par with all previous codexes for variety, it has a lot of sisters units, priests and a couple ecclesiarchy/redemption units, which is kind of a tradition at this point (Frateris in 2nd, Redemptionists in C:CA, penitents/arcos in C:WH, Penitents/EBC in 5th)

I think you misunderstood me (though I probably should have been more specific). I didn't mean "does it have options you can use" I meant "Does it have options you WANT to use?". It seemes to me that a lot of the stuff in it get ignored completely. I've even heard people who like the codex say that half the thing is useless.

No, I heard you. The same was true of all of the previous editions as well. Basically, you have always had a couple units that were good and the rest were junk. That's the way the SOB codexes have gone as far as I remember (back to 2nd).

And you're okay with that?

That is all that I have ever known and I started the army knowing that back at the beginning of 3rd, so yes.

Since Sisters love flame weapons, why don't the Seraphim squads have hand flamers instead of bolt pistols or one of each?

Sisters use the holy trinity of bolter-flamer-melta. Seraphim can have all three.

What would have been nice is for Sister Superiors of all-stripes have access to inferno pistols, hand flamers, and Eviscerators along with ccw's, plasma pistols, and power swords. Stormbolters are the wierd ones since no modelled Sister superior has one.

Sure, although there are no existing models for SS with Inferno, HF or Eviscerators, whereas there are existing models with CCW, PP and PS. Stormbolters, I just use the extra SB models that everyone has laying around and throw a Bolt Pistol pouch on it.

I'm not sure about inferno pistols outside of seraphim wouldn't a combi melta along with standard krak grens or 5 ptsmelta bombs be more versatile for vehicles or the longer range of a plasma pistol more useful for heavy infantry? Hand flamers, totally agree. Eviscerators personally i'd have them for repentia only as it helps defines their character and have relic blades as an option for SS and bring back Blessed weapons for canonesses, good luck modelling that mind.

The SS with the power sword and Plas Pistol converts very easily I made several replacing the Plas with a stormbolter, more for the old WH codex though as I tend to use combi-plas now.

5000pts Order of the Bloody Rose
2000pts Cadian.
5000pts.

I don't know the SS with the plasma pistol sure looks like she is toting a two handed chainsword. In other words it coudl go for a CCW or an Eviscerator IMO. The same is true with the Canoness who strangely doesn't have a plasma psitol option on the minature. This really can't be about available miniatures though as it never bothered them before, but I can't attirubute this to malice either.
