I thought they were working on a Mac version...

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.
Play the games that make you happy.

Seriously, find a (legal, of course. we cannot condone piracy, no matter how non-existent the profit is at this point) copy of Windows XP. You have a Mac, get VMWare Fusion, get Parallels, even use VirtualBox. Army Builder will run just fine.

I have both a pc and a mac so it isn't currently a problem for me, but as Mac's market share rises companies need to realize that they are limiting their own profits by not being on both platforms.

Dont forget GW did sell an army builder type platform. Problem was you had to buy 2 seperate programs (one imperial one non) and they never updated the dang thing so it was worthless a year after you paid $60 for both programs. Still pretty peeved about that one.

I remember that... I had actually stopped playing 40K at the time and though, "What a great idea, it's such a pain to write these lists up by hand and check the points with a calculator!" It's too bad tehy never supported it, but then we do have AB which is heavily supported and works for quite a variety of games. Now if only Brushfire could get a DAT file... anyone know any code-monkeys?

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

Army Builder is incompatible with Brushfire's three resource system, and they have no interest in adding support for it.

That won't keep me from waving net-bananas before the noses of code monkeys to convince them to make it so...
