Those are so cool. Must be a lot of fun to play with, opponent places their magnificent Warlord with pennants flying and gold-trip armour and then suddenly "burrrrppp" belly gun shot goodbye shields for your Warlord!

Like you say the Belly Gun is inseparable from the concept of a Gargant, really great scratchbuilding.

About the gaming locations have you checked the Tactical Command forum jprp? Think a lot of the Epic gaming community posts there as well as the Epic Facebook group.
Like you say though I think most of the events (and even clubs) are shut down at the moment.

Sadly None of my Orks or Chaos epic stuff has ever seen battle, only my Imperial and Eldar many years ago.
I am on TC but have not asked about clubs/events in a long while.

Stay tuned as the War Boss' Gargant will be finished this weekend.

It's definitely worth a look. Although I've just had a check and it looks like everything is on hiatus at the moment. There was an event in early September, which I guess in retrospect was timed well just before things started going south again, but it looks like there is nothing on the end of year tournaments or events that you would usually get.

In any case, looking forward to seeing how the Gargant turns out

It's made from a toy from "Monsters vs Aliens", i have two more that size and a larger one. The Smaller ones are around the size of the old Slasha Gargant model (they are on 60mm base).

Very cool! Those last ones almost look like they could be drawings by John Blanche in miniature form.
What did you use for the base miniature for them and what kind of size are they?
A different spin on Gargants, love the imagination in them.

I honestly don't know what they are, i picked them up one summer at a carboot sale, i imagine they are a burger chain toy related to some kids film, i liked them because they were halfway to being a "cartoon Frankenstein Ork to begin with.

They are perhaps 10-15mm larger than a beetleback Warlord.
60mm bases.

Very cool, I love the detailing on the battlewagons. Think they look a lot more retro-Ork in their style than the later 40k type designs, if you don't mind me saying (i.e. not everything looking like it is made out of sheet metal randomly hammered together and would fall apart immediately)

What are the dreadnought minis you have used?

Hi the Dred's are Transformer Risk pieces with plasticard and cereal packet bits, the head domes are craft bits from poundland.

These are the final Gargants (for now).
2 Mekboy Gargants and a junk build Stomper that in current speak would probably be a Super stomper size wise ( i don't really see the point of the SS when we have Stompers and Mekboy Gargants but the Stomper turned out larger than the GW models....).
Time to get the Dredmob expanded now.
