I play against Nids, IG, Orks, Crons, and CSM usually

I see...
That is a doozey. BA can be fun, but you should take some other armies into consideration.
However, you seem to play armies that either BA army build will fall easily to.
Sanguinary Guard can take down Crons and CSM, but they will fall to the horde armies that you play against.
DC will fall to Crons and CSM from long range fire with power to take away FNP. However, they may stand a chance against the hordes as long as they strike hard and always get the charge.
I have to say these are both quite weak army builds, and other armies may serve better in the long run.
This is hard... honestly, if you want to start a new army, I would go with the one you like the look and feel of best. All of the ones you have suggested will either seem cookie-cutter or will be weak in game.

Honestly, this wouldn't be an army used for winning that often, just for fun. I'm also not set on BA, they are just a possible choice

Well I'm only really experienced with BA. If you want an army that's different to Dark Eldar, I would say Death Company. They're incredibly durable, and it's always fun to spring the surprise of 4 attacks on the charge per squad member! Let alone Blood Talons!

And what about Slaneesh vs Khorne Daemons? They are both really assaulty, but I dont know which is better. A first glance it appears to be Khorne, but Daemonettes has 2x the attacks of bloodletters and are I 5. They also don't have pw, but they are rending, so its not that big of a difference. Also when you scale up to a Bloodthirster and a KoS, the KoS is I 10 and has 3 or 4 more attacks. I don't remember the strength difference, but I don't think its that big. Also WS 9 is not much worse then WS 10. So what are your thoughts?

Well, Khorne armies are generally stronger, but Slannesh is a bit faster. There is always the problem of having half of your army killed by mishaps, however. CSM and Daemons mix may work, so you have tough shooty people and close combat monsters.

I think I will wait and see if the new codex lets me use proper daemons rather then just lesser and greater. And if I get shiny things for doing a specific legion

Blood Angels.........Decent of Angels.... and the over all fact that they are the SM version of Khorne bezerkers with jump packs that hold a power sword in one hand and a melta in another makes them great anti tank and infantry at the same time, also they have a tank that can move 30' in turn 1 and it has 2 heavy flame throwers and a flamestorm cannon with the scouts rule. BUT if you play BA get used to assaulting.... regularly....the whole game.

If you're looking for something completely opposite of the Dark Eldar in terms of mechanics and tactics, then Orks (or to a lesser extent Tyranids) are the best bet. Massive hordes of infantry, ramshackle trukks and wagon. Perhaps the most funniest fluff in the 40K Universe.
Agree, the ork codex is just hilarious. The small side jokes and things that are put into it are just pure comic genius. The entry on Trukks is a good example, when they describe Deathskull Klan trukks as strangely resembling the trukks from other klans-just painted blue. reading the Ork codex is a bit like watching a national geographic episode on orks. Small, inside, humor woven throughout it.

The original post has been edited to fit the times, the new basic gist of it is: I will do either Space Wolves, Tau, Dark Angels, or Inquisition. I don't know the different playstyles of SW or Tau well enough to tell how I would run my list, but for DA I would do Ravenwing and for Inquisition I would do Coteaz henchmen spam.
