I think I read somewhere (more likely imagined it this way) that the Eldar crytalized in old age, eventually becoming a "crytal tree" in the heart of the crftworld.

The other Eldar who had been preserved in soul gems were then hung from the branches of family members to resemble fruit.

I could be completely wrong on this though.

As far as I know only orks are immortal of all non deamon races. CSM are not immortal (unless they get deamonhood) the time just flows differently for them (atleast when they hang around eye of terror). Although orks are immortal they generally get killed as other races have the mentality of "shoot the big one". I've read of an ork who was rumoured to be titan sized but I can't find that source anymore.

The age of spess mahreens is also unknown but oldest ones are that dreadnought wizard space werewolf dude, dante and some third guy who's name I can't remember.

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.

If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.

I'm not sure specifically, but is the dreadnought wizard space werewolf dude Bjorn. There is also a salamander in the tome of fire trilogy that's been alive since the horus heresy, though he's been fused to a throne by age (not sure how) but anyway, that's extremely unlikely.

He died in the book they found him. They couldnt separate him from that chair so they administered the Emperors Peace and collected his geenseed.

I thought that was an interesting twist when I read it. It allowed the main character to essentially regenerate so he could go on instead of dying from his advanced age.

Eldrad Ulthuan is the oldest living Eldar by a long way (I recall the usual age being about a 1000 or so)

I know Eldrad died relatively recently in the time line but he was much older then that when he died. He was a good enough seer to not only foresee the HH but mentally warn the emperor of it 10K years ago.
