Still, the first thought that came to my mind when I saw your grey knights was: wtf, catholic marines?

Call me an Ultrasmurf one more time, I dare you.
The Emperor of Mankind wages a constant battle to protect humanity from the horrors of space. All that stand in their way are the mighty Space Marines. They are more than mortal, they are steel and they are doom. They are the champions of mankind. And the GREATEST, MOST BADASS of them all, are the ULTRAMARINES.
In honor of Captain Titus of the Ultramarines' 2nd Company, an ultramarine unlike any other - may none find him wanting for his name shall forever live in glory, till the end of days.
Titus understood that the Codex Astartes is merely a set of rules, that it is supposed to guide young initiates of the Ultramarines, to inspire honor and sacrifce amongst them. He was also aware of how blindly some of his brothers followed the said set of rules, refusing to think for themselves thus consequently failing the true test of a Space Marine. He understood, better than anyone, that Ultramarines are not without flaws and that after all they are still human in a way. While he knew all that, he also knew that despite all their imperfections, they were the humanity's only hope for survival.

I am lucky and get to play against these guys all the time We have some epic match ups with Riku, and one of the major things that make them epic is that both of us have good painted armies... allways

They are my Angels of Death... I have dreamed of this army for years. Something that takes all the imagery and grandeur of legends and the ferocity of supernatural warriors arriving to save the souls/hides of the unwashed masses. For all the critics...every name in the Dark Angels codecies are actual fallen Angel names from religion. Hell most of the names of Chaos are religion based. Til we start seeing the Smith Marines with Jim and Rob or Grand Boss Kenny....OK someone please make the generic bland genetic enhanced interstellar situation developers.

I knows what I likes and I likes what I sees.

How to paint Skeletons the way I do if that's something you'd fancy trying.

Very nice, each and every model is so characterful, and detailed. Also, what's not to like about a marine with dual powerfists? SMASH FACE!

Some of the best indeed. Both your work and the original army. Personally I don't give a gak about "catholic marines", the banners however were just too big.

One of the best space marine armies I have ever seen, superb job. If you don't mind me asking how do you paint the black armor, is it a very dark metallic, or black shaded and weathered with silver, I've had a similar scheme in the works for awhile and yours is the best example of the concept I've seen, so if you could explain it that would be awesome.

Also I actually like the banners although it would be cool if it was like jesus with some bionic augmentations or something, but as is they are over the top in a good awesome way.

Thank you all. Black armour is really simple. I just highlight the edges with codex grey, wash wtih black wash and then I use foam or detail brush to make the combat damage. I don't have much time to use painting these guys so I have to use all kinds of shortcut techniques.
