When I beat the Necrons as the Imperial Guard in DoW: Dark Crusade on hard.

"The Imperium is nothing if not willing to go to any lengths necessary. So the Trekkies are zipping around at warp speed taking small chucks out of an nigh-on infinite amount of ships, with the Imperium being unable to strike back. feth it, says central command, and detonates every vortex warhead in the fleet, plunging the entire sector into the Warp. Enjoy tentacle-rape, Kirk, we know Sulu will." -Terminus

"This great fortress was a gift to the Blood Ravens from the legendary Imperial Fists. When asked about it Chapter Master Pugh was reported to say: "THEY TOOK WHAT!?""

When Ursarkar E. Creed rallied the IG regiments at the Tyrok Fields after the Volscani Cataphracts revealed their allegiance to chaos and killed hundreds of troops and the Cadian High Command. Not only did he reorganized the IG amid all that chaos in record time, but launched a counter attack that struck deep into the traitors lines and killed their own high command aboard the Leviathan they had just captured. The tactical genius of Creed (hurr) and the stubborn defiance of the IG snatched victory from the jaws of defeat that day, a crowning moment of glory for the Imperial Guard!

The Emperor sitting on his throne with his loyal primarchs at his side, contemplating what to do and how things could have gone so wrong. Then the subsequent events of him taking the fight to Horus onboard his flagship. And of course we know the rest. Leading up to this climatic and epic depiction:

No other series of events or images ever produced before conjure up the emotion that these events and images do. I hope a studio is given the green light to build this series of events in a CG intro to a game perhaps someday. I would like to see it fully fleshed out by blur studios or some other company.

You mean before he run like a coward when Helbrecht returned to kick his a**? At least he destroyed his fleet .

Oh yeah, and recent best moment I saw in Retribution.
Lord Commissar to his troop at the front, Space Marines assaulting:
"Glory to the first men that dies."
And then executes an enemy Marine and inspire his own troops

Wondering Why the Emperor Left

Pheonix, Arizona

I forget where I read this, but I am almost certain I once read Yarrick was laying broken and bloodied at the feat of Ghazghkull on Armageddon, and his last act before passing out was as the warboss roared in a gesture of triumph, Yarrick made a gesture of his own between the boss's legs with his power klaw. I might be wrong but I am close to certain I am not.

Stop bleeding and fight back!

i do have to say that it definitely has to be the Horus heresy. It's really great how the Primarchs are torn to either side of the war and the whole darkness of the uprising. I personally like the more background and subtle stuff like the nemesis book and the psychological destruction of the pre-heresy imperium instead of the actual idea of Horus vs. the emperor.

Er... what?

No, you're thinking of that ork warboss who led a waaagghh into the Eye of Terror. After losing all his boyz he fights some daemon and loses, ending with him "laying broken and bloodied at the feat of ?Ghazghkull? on ?Armageddon?, and his last act before passing out was as the ?warboss? roared in a gesture of triumph, ?Yarrick? made a gesture of his own between the ?boss's? legs with his power klaw."

Basically, you just changed the names up. =|

The story itself can be found in the ork dex.
