I play eldar, blood angels, space wolves, sisters and tau and the worst weapon has to be, in my opinion, the eldar bright lance.

It would be great, if it didn't average 40 or so points. Its far, far too expensive for what it does. Especially when compared to their dark kin and their dark lances.

That being said, if it were a 15 or so point upgrade for a vehicle. It'd be great.

Zapp guns they are fun but not reliable in any fashion, and I like other ork "fun" weapons.

Short range, Str 6 but at least has lance...

I'll start off with the Heat Lance. It may be a Melta Lance Weapon, but it's rubbish range, strength and AP shame it VS the Multi Melta.

Actually, I found that the heatlance is pretty damn effective. It depends on how you use it.
It's like with the rest of the DE army; it requires skill.

Anyway...worst AT for me would be Zzapp cannons. On paper they look pretty nasty and fun. In practice...no.

HK Missile or Lascannon in game terms.

The HK has unlimited range, but a regular krak missile already has 48", why would you need much more?

As for the Lascannon, yes, it's S9, but it's also far costlier than a missile launcher for just about any squad with a choice, and definately too expensive on things like Predators. They're just not able to compete with cheaper AT weapons due to their exorbitant cost and the fact the only things they bring are +1 strength and an unnecessary boost in AP.

As have already been mentioned. Ork Zzap guns (they used to rock but now, not so much) and the Tau seeker missile. The only weapon in the game that requires two "to hit" rolls.

I'm rather disillusioned with the Ork combi rokkit as well. Its an anti tank weapon that hits once every 3 games. Cant even kill AV14 no matter what you roll.

Eldar Vibro Cannon . Always has an effect on a vehicle . At -3 on the table . I used to love them in 4th .

Cant even scratch the paintjob of a tank, and most of the time not in range.

For a dedicated anti-armour weapon, I would nominate Tau skyray seeker missiles.

First you need to hit your target with a marker-light, which is an entire heavy-weapon shot, which doesn't even do any damage yet, but only "unlocks" the ability to use your skyray missile. You either ML from the Skyray negating the range-advantage from the seeker, or you dedicate another whole pricy FoC-choice such as Pathfinders to it only to make your HS work.

Second, you need to roll again to hit with the seeker.

Third, you have the privilege to do damage equivalent of a poor-mans krak missile at best, having invested likely 200+ points, possibly two-FoC-entries and several (failable) to-hit rolls to get to this point.

Oh, and they are limited in number too.

The Infernius Pistol is the worst by far.

a 6 inch range is quite short. You have to be within 3 inches to use it to full benefit.

Along with its outrageous cost, it is the worst out there.

Tachyon Arrrow.

Infinite range... str 10 ap 1... but one shot per game. Any weapon that is "1 shot per game" will ALWAYS miss. It's a scientific fact, even with the triarch stalker marker the target and making it twin linked

Mine did. ONCE. I think it was a Leman Russ as well, which was especially satisfying. Got wrecked next turn but it managed to roast 200+ points of tank before it could fire a shot

Or krak grenades. I think they technically count.
