There was a stalker in FoD?

Great job on the conversion!

Yes, I just read that part last night, they are only mentioned in passing as a unit one of the teams encountered (at least this far into the book).
Its a decent book, btw. I think it really helps establish the new necron fluff quite a bit, although....as with most fluff, stats don't always ring true.
For example, the flayed ones in the book should have much better than INT2, and perhaps get rending as well. Oh well, what part don't you believe.

I think they are much smaller, as part of the exaggeration of size in the few pics we have can be partially accounted for as perspective (i.e. you are looking below it).

Regardless, I love the look of THIS work, and I think is an excellent conversion and a very resourceful use of the parts we have. I will certainly struggle to make one smaller that looks nearly as good of quality.

Really!? read the book 2 times and dont remember this part. must have been really vague too...

Thanks for all the praise guys ill tinker with the new camera and see if i can get some better pics up here soon.
It was a bit of a challenge to get the conversion done to be honest, took some serious thinking before starting but i think my childhood facination with lego helped a lot

I forgot that my copy is searchable. Yay!

I think the passage you are referring to is talking about Canoptek Spiders:

"In the wastes, little more than rubble and accumulated ice, Agrippen had continued
his irresistible advance. Spider-like constructs the size of attack bikes had impeded
him,"

There are zero instances of the words, triarch, stalker, heat ray in the book and all the instances of 'walker' seem to not relate to anything even close to a necron triarch stalker:

"He was a master of the elements, a chronomancer, a phantasmal
manipulator, a walker between universes, but still he could not always grasp the
thread of his former existence."
"He expected to see lumbering war machines, bipedal walkers, arachnid constructs
or a host of other mechanical horrors pounding towards the walls. But no emerald
beams scorched through the snow-fog that had rolled down off the mountains and
swathed the world in dirty white. There were no ranks of blinking, soulless orbs as
the phalanxes marched on the city. Even the necron communication-nodes were
silent. It was something else."
"Sentinel walkers, some without functioning weapons, and
Hellhound tanks ranged the flanks."

Myth? BUSTED.

i pretty much had to if it was to look like the artwork in the codex but that's not why i did it.
I i really like the look, and the pilot reminds you how fragile it is in the game (being open topped)
