Well, first off you need the Barge kit and 6 "ribs" from the Ark kit. i bought them off ebay.
Assemble the barge body (moon shape and the 2 plates holding them together, aswell as the ball that goes inside it)
Trim off the moon points where the plates holding them in place begin and set them asside for later.
Cut into the legs so that the "spine" circles fit over the body bit you had from before, and glue them in place so that the 4 of them form a base for the rest of the model. i glued them to a Large oval stand to make it more stable. Let it dry completely before moving on.
Assemble the tail moon shape from the barge, but before gluing it in place on the body, cut off the round engine. this forms the Chair chassis for the driver later.
Assemble 1 driver and snip off most of the spine section that connects him to the original model. then glue him to the tail like in the pics.
Glue the chair covering from before in place.
Now this part is tricky: the 2 engines that fit in the "front" of the monster are the sockets for our huge claws. cut off part of the body so that the engines exhaust can point upwards.
Now you mix up some greenstuff or build a structure to mount the front part of the pilots seat onto. the pilots seat casing is made from the rail that the necron lord holds onto in the original version of the barge.
The lenses on the front i cant really explain in detail, since their mounted in greenstuff and are all from the sprue, apart from an old-style smoke launcher that i cut up, and the large lense from the ark kit. The mandibles are from the ravener plastic kit and can be bought online as well.
the gun is from the barge and is assembled as normal, then fitted into place with generous amounts of plastic cement.
Finally the claws: these are made from the half moon shapes we cut from the main body in the first place, plus the 2 extra legs we have left over. you need to cut the legs at the right angles to reposition them and remove some of the smaller parts, including the large circle shapes. the final touch on my version is 2 blades from a necrosphinx that form the pointy tips on the claws, but plastic card will do just as well...

Thanks a lot, means a lot to me that other people see this as i do. The claws where a bitch and im still not quite satisfied with them.

Neat. It's made of ghost ark and barge bits, right?

Well, yes, barge kit and 6 "ribs" from the Ark kit plus a few minor additions.

Really great work, the best Stalker I've seen yet. I've seen a few similar, but usually only using the Ark ribs as legs. Your larger front legs I think are key...they make it look a lot closer to the codex art.

Very cool model, great build.
Personally not 100% keen on the paint scheme, conjures up a very Egyptian theme for me (a trend I dont like with the new Crons) but if thats your army style its all good.

I assure you that it fits in perfectly with the rest of them and im going to have plenty of unusual models to set of the.. shall we say, ordinary paint scheme.

WARHAMMER 40K BITS NECRON ANNIHILATION BARGE - CHASSIE
WARHAMMER 40K BITS NECRON ANNIHILATION BARGE - PROW ASSEMBLY (just for the optics, not essential)
WARHAMMER 40K BITS NECRON ANNIHILATION BARGE - CRESCENT TAIL (only the moon shape. the rest i didnt use)
WARHAMMER 40K BITS NECRON ANNIHILATION BARGE - TESLA CANNON & GAUSS CANNON
WARHAMMER 40K BITS NECRON ANNIHILATION BARGE - 2x GUNNNER CREW (only 1 needed)
WARHAMMER 40K BITS NECRON ANNIHILATION BARGE - COMMAND CONSOLE (for the front of the throne)
WARHAMMER 40K BITS NECRON DOOMSDAY ARK - CHASSIE RIBS (only 6 needed)
The large optic, but its part of the back section auction for the ark, and pointless to buy this way.
2 ravener claws for the mandibles
2 necrosphinx warblades.
a large oval base helps

Excellent work.
You did a great job interpreting that terribly inconsistent art work, especially in the almost criminal absence of any useful information from gw*.

I am working on one, and I want to make it MUCH smaller, as in my opinion the pictures really exaggerate its size.

I base this on the fact it is supposed to be a walker, and from fluff references - specifically in fall of damnos they are referred to as "attack bike size".

However, my opinion on the size of the thing in no way takes anything away from your very exceptional job at this interpretation.

* GW: how hard is it to list "base size" with every entry? I am sure tervigon players would love to know as well...
