I think Writhing Worldscape is a great thing to have in any army, personally. The beastly MC is just icing on the cake.

I second this. A C'tan is just an add-on, but here its rather useful. Just use it as a counterstrike unit.

Yeah, the Pyrrhian Eternals & Warscythe Overlord did get into CC with a unit of 8x combat marines. Mindshackle Scarabs worked on a regular marine with a Meltagun, and that effect was truly minimal. The Warscythe is always nice, but ultimately they lost the round of combat by 1 (FNP really kicks my ass in CC). Then on my turn, they lose the round of combat by 1 again, but are now down to 50% of the unit, and they fail their leadership test and flee. However, they are not swept, and instead just ran off the board. That really hurt, because the Overlord was attached to the unit, so there goes 2 kill points.

So far I think I can add in 4x Wraiths with 3x Whip Coils if I either A) remove a unit of Deathmarks & 2x Immortals or B) remove an Annihilation Barge, 2x Immortals and replace 2x Heavy Destroyers with regular Destroyers. I'm torn between these two, as I love the Annihilation Barge & Heavy Destroyer's armour-wrecking shooting, however I've found the Deathmarks to be invaluable. This game, the Deathmarks wiped out two whole squads of ML & Lascannon Devastators in basically a single round, then teamed up to wipe out a 10-man unit of combat marines with a chaplain and a fancy sword-wielding guy that is also an IC, but not a named character.
