In the Death Korps, sometimes there is no time to change out the barrel of your weapon between firefights, Most of the deaths in the Death Korp. are actually caused by poor weapon maintenance.

" Umm sarge, I have a question?" says trooper #234675A/phi "What the hell are you doing down here trooper why arn't you tring to take that break in the fortresses wall!!!" "Well umm this las-gun I got issued is broken, I tried to tell the quartermaster and the commissar about it just they just drew their las pistols and started to shoot....so I got the hell out of there" the trooper replied "oh dear god emperor" the sargent mumbled under his breath" Trooper your only job is to rush that hole in the wall...it doesn't matter if your gun works or not the General's calculated that we needed 250,000 men in the first 5 minutes of the breach to take it, So get your fugging arse back up there and take that fugging breach solder! They don't call us the Death Korps of Krieg for nothing son" He replied gently to the solder. "Now get going I see the commissar comming around and he looks even more pissed off then usual."

The Commissar with the sword on the shoulder is the same one as the one holding a laspistol. They just come with two different hands. I have had two of them and unless the completely changed that with this new release then it should be the same.

I guess these will be in Finecast resin now?

Might pick up Solomon Lok, for the model alone.

No, FW still uses their own resin.

There were reports of them "trying out" Finecast resin, but apparently that was a limited run thing and they weren't happy with the results.

Theat speaks volumes doesn't it?

Lady Luck may be fickle, but she loves a man who tries and tries again.

Not really. The resin used for Finecast is not the same as what they use, and it wasn't anything that would let them cut down on costs as it would have involved them altering their production methods over to what Finecast uses.

The reason they tried it was the potential for Memphis to start producing FW stuff again.
