Long Fangs pack most of the
SW's firepower. But the good news is, they are not mobile. So, play to your strengths, and to their weakness. Alot of people don't practise that, and get involved in a war of attrition. That to me is suicide.

When my group plays, everyone comes armed with a list, and we randomly determine who is plying whom. It seems the fairest, and above all most interesting way to do it. Otherwise you just DS or Drop Pod on top of the "weaker" armies and it is all over by turn 2 or 3... and that is no fun for anyone. I feel the game was intended to be played with TAC lists and that is how we play.
Too many people tailor their lists, and I just wanted to express my joy at seeing like minded players.
I believe that if I can tailor my list against an opponent, my Tau is almost invincible.
