That was a bad place with bad prices. You really have to shop around, like anything. You also have to take into consideration the number of colours, the total area (not just height), complexity, and how long it will take.

Just got a small tattoo on my right upper arm. It's the medical/nursing symbol (snakes wrapped around a winged staff, both over a book). Got it when I first graduated from nursing school over 8 years ago.

Have been planning for my second tattoo ever since. I do actually have my own coat of arms (designed for my family, not via google) that I really want to get as a tattoo.

I have two. Both done years ago when I was younger and not so jaded.
A rose ( from an old girlfriend - it's a nice one, and I grow a cultivar not unlike it) and the first bar of Beethoven's fifth on my shoulderblade.

I don't want more, nor do I feel a need to get more. These two mean something to me and that's enough for me. The only person who normally sees them is the wife.

I'm gonna get a gigantic Eagle Globe and Anchor on my back when I have the chance.

The back is a pretty safe area for civilian work, right? It's covered up with any shirt besides a tank top, so I figure employers can't complain too much.

Are you old enough to be in Marines? Im thinking I remember you being younger. If so, just an FYI you shouldnt get that done until your old enough to join AND graduated basic. Other wise thats looked at as insulting.

Not sure if that's a good deal or not...

And yes, I probably wouldn't get it done until after I had been in for a while, or after being promoted or something else.

Agreed, besides, I don't know what I want yet, so she will get plenty of practice before I ever want to get one.

As long as you past boot, I dont see anything wrong with it. But if your one of those guys that "think" they are Marines, or any military branch for that matter, its a pretty big no no.
