Theres bound to be variations between mediums made by different companies, but i doubt theres much difference. Probably all work identically or so close to identically you wouldn't notice.

Personally, water does everything i need unless im airbrushing

That is the biggest load of (censored) I have ever seen on dakka dakka.

How do you know this? Proof?

I supposed the over priced: primer, super glue, paint, white glue, clipper, cutting matt, flocks, varnish

are all GW's top secret miracle formula right?

Deary me, I didn't mean to ruffle everyones feathers.

Let's take a step away from GW for a second, I'm trying to think of something we can all relate to so you can understand my point about a propriotary formula.

Erm, Branflakes.

Kellogs Branflakes have a specific recipe.

Adsa/Wallmart's Branflakes also has a specific recipe.

They are both Branflakes, but use different formula.

Now, GW's paint is made by a different company in China, but specifically for GW to a set of instructions (viscousity, how much pigment, exact colour, dry time, etc) that GW provide.

As for proof that its better I can only say that I have GW paints, I have GW medium, I have Vallejo Paint, I have Vallejo Medium etc etc and I get better results when I dont brand mix.

Again, I'm not all that worried so we could just leave it now?
