Vanguard Veterans.
Serously, They are awesome. They get some of the best war gear from the chapter and even said they can take down an entire bastion naked and with their bare fist's
I have a kitbashed one of them that if you go by WYSIWYG is 350 points.

Unit: Tyranid Prime. I love these guys - I enjoy making conversions for them and I enjoy using them.
Character - Trazyn. Not great in terms of gameplay, but I love his fluff and find him entertaining to play.

Most of my favourite minis have been canned and/or 'new and improved' over the years, leaving us with... the Seraphim! Those iconic lasses have really stood the test of time (as with the whole SoB army), and I like that they've preserved that direct link to better (IMO) times... nice and fitting given the fluff.
Haven't played since before C:WH but using the 2001 Chapter Approved rules the nicely tooled-up Seraphim were always my favourite WTF!?, punch above their weight, kill everything unit (and I played as nearly all factions - all except SMs and Orks).
Even my most memorable savaging by a single unit was my last remnants of my DE being methodically taken out by a small unit of Seraphim (his last unit) that just wouldn't die and that could catch my fast and evil forces of darkness however much they tried to eff off screaming, away from the zealous little nutcases!
Good times! Damn, I swore I'd never get back into buying GW minis but them Sisters keep tempting me... and I've come up with a gorgeous colour scheme....
Might be best to get a nice metal force together just in case before they get canned/'new and improved'?

I used those guys in a recent game. I put them in a bad place but once i got them into battle there hellfire rounds tore tau apart.
And 5 basic with no options are cheap.

DoooooooooooooooooomRIDER!!!!! Oh wait....
I love Kharn thanks to his 1d4chan fluff. He's not a bad guy at all.
On tabletop right now I love an Overlord w/warscythe, phylactery, mss, sempiternal weave, phase shifter, res orb, and tesseract labyrinth with a copy cat entourage of lords to follow. Expensive? Oh hell yes. Laughing in your opponent's face with 2+/3++/4+++ saves? Oh hell yes. Forcing your opponent to take a ridiculous amount of tests to avoid having his favorite unit(s) being mss'd and/or tl'd? Hell yeah! Striking with S7 power weapons? the icing on the cake.

on the other hand Nobz they decided it was in the best interest of ork society that they "Go Green" as such they specifically modified their warbikes to not make giant smoke, dust, grit, clouds. Instead they are all about driving with clean air, one might say their bikes Gak out rainbows.
