Have you checked your tyre pressures and tracking?

This.

My father showed me when I was just a boy that he didn't even have to turn the wheel to go round most corners.

Have you driven a car? Roads have a camber, it means that rain runs off to the side and cars tend to drift away from the other carriageway. The effect is slight on most roads but noticeable.

Right. The Car itself isn't desgined to drift one way or the other though, when in proper alignment. It's supposed to go straight.

His excuse was that "He worked in an Autoshop for 6 months, and Alignments were designed so that cars drift to the right."

I asked one of my Mechanics about this, and he just laughed at the absurdity of it.

Yes I have and when my car is in good condition I only notice it pulling to the left on highly cambered roads. Maybe it pulls to the right and I don't notice because of the camber on the road. Ah ha! I see the mechanic conspiracy!

No no, they pull to the right in the US because they drive on the right, they pull to the left in the UK. We have some rubbish roads here but if your car regularly pulls to the right there's something wrong with it, yes.

I find that it pulls to the right when I turn the wheel clockwise and to the laft when I turn it anti clockwise :-P

One of our congresswoman here in Finland was preparing a legistlation for allowing men to give birth...

...there are people who voted her...

...I sometimes talk with those voters...

...nuff said.

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.

If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.

How can you legislate who can or cannot give birth? People either get pregnant or they can't. The only possible thing I could imagine is that a trans person becomes a man but still has a womb, so therefore you could have paperwork describing a man giving birth.

I guess they forgot that part.

But sadly that isn't even the worst things finnish legistators have come up with. Atleast this one gave a good laugh.

It's just semantics.

The car isn't designed to drift, but it's designed in order to allow a deliberate drift to be introduced.

Proper alignment of the wheels is for them to be adjusted to cause a slight inwards drift -- that is, towards the centre line -- in order to offset the effect of camber, allowing the car to go straight while crossing a very slight slope.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.
