Care to elaborate? Battlefield 3 is a great game, and while Origin is intrusive, that's not Battlefield 3/DICE's fault.

It'll be a shame if it falls, as its one I would have tried, hell probably got Collector editions for, just like WaR.
Of course I am content to continue with WoW at the moment, but I am always happy to try new things. Hopefully CCP will get sorted sooner than later and WoD can get back on track. Secret World might be good, and I've always got City of Heroes for a bit of fun as well.
Oh and there is of course Titan still in the wings, although I still have doubts that it will turn out to be a Starcraft MMO, which I have little to no interest in.

I feel for the people at THQ at the moment as I have relatives going through the same situation, not knowing if there job is safe. I hope the company pulls through.
Having said that I can't say I'm going to feel like I'm missing out on anything if Dark Millennium isn't released. It looks terrible.

Chances are DMO is bust. Might as well say it now and eat those words if/when it comes back and gains full release in gold plating I only hope, should THQ go bust, that someone reliable takes them up. Activision and EA, big no's. If Valve weren't so slow at making HL2 Ep3 I'd say they should take'm on.
We'll find out what happens soon enough.

I disagree. I dislike Bethesda as all their games tend to have a huge amounts of game breaking bugs. I’m not a fan of their gameplay either (too streamlined for my tastes). I will admit that their games have a lot of playable content and polish but any half decent MMO developer should be able to achieve this.
Personally I’d like someone to make a “Neverwinter Nights” style game based on the FFG 40K roleplay systems. I don’t know which developer I’d like to make the game as most of the “big companies” haven’t impressed me really.

Not bothered by the 40k MMO, i mean how different is it going to be from any other MMO except by having a better IP to draw from.

Not to mentioned terrible main quests, shoddy dlc, no sense of continuity, hiring only 10 voice actors for 70% of the voices, empty world to be filled with pc only mods, etc

I disagree.
EA introduced Project 15 Dollar, have ruined Bioware, introduced a Digital Distribution Platform which not only manages to fail to improve upon their previous client, but also fails to compete with any of the other distributors on the market while at the same time pulling games to force people onto their crappy service, have destroyed countless studios and shutdown old game servers that are barely two years old, just to name a few of the things they've done.
Activision are bad, but I think EA takes the cake here simply for introducing practices which are ruining the game industry for consumers and actively does not care. I do not want the Warhammer license in their hands. We've seen crap they are with with Warhammer Online.

It's not unlikely that they could get investor capitol to continue production of the game. If it's in anything resembling good shape the investment would look good on paper. It's easy to monetize free to play MMOs, and a paid copy launch can soften development costs significantly.

Wait. I don't really care of THQ is in trouble. I want to know if Relic is in trouble. Relic is the one making the good 40K video games stuff.
Wait a second: THQ owns Relic Entertainment. Oh gosh, we are doom. Someone buy Relic quick.

However i think it may be a blessing in disguise if this game is not made just yet, at least until someone comes up with a new and original mmo format, as i dont think anyone currently would be able to do it the justice it deserves.

I'm not disagreeing that BF3 isn't a great game; I have put countless hours into what I consider to be the best FPS. I just personally feel that EA really screwed up everything they did with Battlefield, such as stopping it from being put on Steam, instead forcing PC users to use Origin. While certain things DICE have done haven't exactly worked out, it's not them I have the problem with

They did claim it's going to be FPS/Third person shooter, not a mmorpg. Which is fairly original honestly, as I cannot think off the top of my head to other third person mmo's. I've seen fps though.

I'm fairly certain that Fallout 3 A) defaulting to a first person view, and B) letting me shoot things wedges it firmly into the FPS slot. It's an RPG on top of that, but the two aren't mutually exclusive.
