Its the only way to ride.

It puts your special weapons where they need to be, and makes you much more resilient to templates

Bit of a necro post,

Have my first battle on Tuesday with this force (I'm voluntary "sit out guy" if there's an odd number, which there was last two times)... toying with giving a bike champion a thunderhammer... thoughts?

On another note, I've now had time to convert (magnetize, actually) some PF arms into CS and put holstered Meltas on some sargs too.

Just wanted to plug this thread as an excellent resource.

Just won an almost all day event using wisdom here, tough battle against BT army (obviously not the best test of a force, but still very solid players with some nasty stuff).

Great to hear that it works out for ya. Perhaps a batrep?
