Not to be a troll myself, but Trollzyn the Infinite with his empathic obliterator might be in the running for the biggest TT troll. Wound everyone in the squad on a successful wound on 4+? Nasty against mobs.
But yeah, the only game I've played against Orks, he fielded a Warp'ead, results were mixed, gave him an extra furious charge, wiped a pair of my warrior squads with it, but i eventually won.

but the squiging rules states the IC is a squig and has squig rules so that means any IC will lose ability . Daz this meany any ability they gave the army also? like the ability to make Dreads Scoring for GK. was just thinking

That is hard to say.

You can't remove the dread from being a troop choice in the FoC after the deployment... Depends on hwo the rule is written, can someone quote it?

Feel no pain would not apply to squigging either.

Squigging doesn't cause any wounds, so no FNP negation there.

Then you lose all special rules, and become a squig, so all you have is the squig statline and abilities in the ork dex. No FNP bubble, no cool rules... you're just a squig.

It doesn't kill the target model. It replaces it with another with different rules.


I'd say that once the FOC is set, and the scoring models are made scoring it would stay that way, but it would depend on the wording of the rule.

again, can you quote the exact wording of the ability/rule. There are a lot of factors can could make it go both sides.

You are talking about Grand Strategy are you not?

If it is the case, Grand Strategy is used before the forces are deployed and alst for the game, so if your dread gets affected by Unyeileding Anvil, even if the Grand Master gets squigged, the dread will still be able to capture points as it was gven the role at the beginning of the game and before he got cursed.

GRAND STRATEGY: At the start of thegame, before forces are deployed, the Grand Master can assign special battelfield roles to units under his command. Roll a D3 and choose that many infantry, jump infantry, monstrous creature or walker units in your army (but not models with the Independent Character special rule, Inquisitorial Henchmen Warbands or Grand Master mordrak's unit of Ghost KNights). These nominated units have one of the following roles for the duration of the game (they must all have the same role);

Unyielding Anvil: A key position must be seized for victory to be win, The nominated units can claim objectives as if they were Troops.

It would not change FOC. If your IC that allowed certain FOC choices died in combat, those rules would not change.

Although he is not dying, his model is removed from the game in a similar fashion albeit replaced with a squig model and profile.

IMHO, that part is the reason:
At the start of the game, before forces are deployed, the Grand Master can assign special battelfield roles to units under his command.

the ability to capture objectives is given to the unit before forces are deployed. So if theGrand Master gets squigged on turn 2, the ability has been used, Also, Grand Strategy states that the effects last the whole game.

Grand Master permits the use of Grand Strategywhich is used at the beginning of the game, after that, the dread is indepedent from the Grand master. The only way to remove the unyeilding anvil would be to cast the curse before the grand tactic roll is done, which is impossible. So except if I missed a part on another page or in the GK FAQ about this ability, what ever happen to the GM during the game does not affect the unique abilities that Grand Strategygrants.

Overall, the ability is used before the deployment and has effects until the end of the game, so the curse has no effect on it since it has already been used when the curse takes effect.
