Subject: Re:Your favorite song by your favorite band
Minnesota, land of 10,000 Lakes and 10,000,000,000 Mosquitos
The band is Ayreon, but it's honestly a dead tie between these two songs. Both of them are very powerful songs - the first has a really neat back-and-forth between two of the singers, while the second has just an amazing blend of dramatic parts, culminating in a finale that just blows me away every time.
Unnatural Selection
The Sixth Extinction
It's really worth a listen. The Sixth Extinction is just awe-inspiring at times.
My Armies:
Kal'reia Sept Tau - Farsight Sympathizers Da Great Looted Waaagh! The Court of the Wolf Lords
So many great songs and so hard to say what my favourite is, just depends on what I'm feeling and where I'm at...
I'll throw this in the hat though as it was my introduction to grunge and Pearl Jam when they arrived on the scene. Connected to the music at the time and never looked back since... Eddie Vedder + Chris Cornell = Musical Perfection (in my book anyway)

Trondheim Nice tunes One more from me;
I feel so extraordinary
Something's got a hold on me
I get this feeling I'm in motion
A sudden sense of liberty
I don't care 'cause I'm not there
And I don't care if I'm here tomorrow
Again and again I've taken too much
Of the things that cost you too much
I used to think that the day would never come
I'd see the light in the shade of the morning sun
My morning sun is the drug that brings me near
To the childhood I lost, replaced by fear
I used to think that the day would never come
That my life would depend on the morning sun
When I was a very small boy
Very small boys talked to me
Now that we've grown up together
They're afraid of what they see
That's the price that we all pay
Our valued destiny comes to nothing
I can't tell you where we're going
I guess there's just no way of knowing
I used to think that the day would never come
I'd see the light in the shade of the morning sun
My morning sun is the drug that brings me near
To the childhood I lost, replaced by fear
I used to think that the day would never come
That my life would depend on the morning sun
I feel so extraordinary
Something's got a hold on me
I get this feeling I'm in motion
A sudden sense of liberty
The chances are we've gone too far
You took my time and you took my money
Now I fear you've left me standing
In a world that's so demanding
I used to think that the day would never come
I'd see the light in the shade of the morning sun
My morning sun is the drug that brings me near
To the childhood I lost, replaced by fear
I used to think that the day would never come
That my life would depend on the morning sun
I used to think that the day would never come
I'd see the light in the shade of the morning sun
My morning sun is the drug that brings me near
To the childhood I lost, replaced by fear
I used to think that the day would never come
That my life would depend on the morning sun
