If you seriously did that, or even was a douche about it, I would then ask your opponent the question "Would you like me to lean into or away from your haymaker?"

Oh wow.
Thanks to grakmar for actually answering the posed question. I had missed this in my game where I was handed this goofy die. Thank you also for picking up on the terms "beardy" and unsportsmanlike".

To the rest of you, thank you for your judgement. Makes me smile. I'm so sure, given your responses, that you would act completely sporting in any situation. Since you've acted so maturely in response to an Internet post. Good showing, but I'm docking you on your 'decent human being' scores.

^ and come on.
You always lean into the haymaker. Robs them of force in the event you can't block or dodge it on your way to deliver the jab.

You presented the story as if it was something you had done or were going to do. If it was your opponent handing you the funky die, why didn't you present the story in that fashion isntead of saying. .

"If my opponent doesn't have a scatter die and asks to borrow mine, would it be technically legal to hand him a die that had no 'HIT' facings?"

If you were talking about your opponent and not yourself, then you should've presented that fact more clearly. The forum doesn't just assume that you're not talking about yourself when you say "my" and "mine".

Actually, it's perfectly "legal."

Since passing of a die is not bound within the rules of 40k, it's legal (in most countries) to pass a die with no hit facings to another individual who asked for a scatter die.
It is ILLEGAL for him to use that die (with no hit facings) to roll for a scatter roll in a game of 40k.

But now we're getting deep into deusche country, where I dare not tread any further.

I presented a story, Puma. The diction therein matters not one iota to the question asked. A simple 'no that is not legal' would have sufficed, bonus points if you said why.
I got instead a more.. hardcore set of responses, and responded in kind. After, of course, waiting for more than three comments ,not including my own, to judge the vitriol worthy of my contempt.

Interesting racta. It seems that I was in fact the douche for rolling the die!

The poor mans scatter makes sense, and is awesome. I'll use that in the future.

So, essentially, the thread was just trolling for a reaction. Thank you for wasting everyone's time.

Moving on.
