Yes, as I recall the military analysts concluded that Canada would have been walked over at the start and the rest would have been something of a stalemate. I enjoyed the documentary, but I'm taking their predictions with a pinch of salt due to the impact such a conflict would have on the globe.

What's more interesting is the Canadian plan to attack America if there ever was a war...
Though the American plan was merely to get to a stalemate, they apparently had very little hope they would pull a win...

Why is that hypocritical? Or ironic?
I would understand if you were referring to a French publication.
Because the founder of the Daily Mail was himself a Nazi sympathiser and confirmed British Fascist.

Wasn't the Daily Mail founded pre-1900?
The Nazis didn't come into existance until 1920 or so, the Fascists around the same time.

Fact: 90% of Canadians live within 100 miles of the US border.
If that's not preparing for an invasion, I don't know what is.

My apologies biccat, I misreported the facts. It was in fact the paper's second owner, Lord Rothmere, who was the fascist.

Every world power has a plan to invade every other country. It's just how the world is. Forget all the diplomatic relations and trade agreements, when it comes down to it there's a folder in a locker somewhere containing plans for a nuclear strike ox X country.

Yep, the Daily Mail was printing Nazi appeasement and pro Fascist material well into the 1930s.

To be fair, he was the original owner's brother, and a major player in initially starting the Mail.
