He has Scout so he can deploy anywhere on the board as long as he's not within 12" of an enemy.

Or you can hide one in a unit of Shades. Deploy them 12" from their target. Turn 1 you reveal him and get to work. Keep him cheap though. Rending stars are great; Poisoned, S5, 3 shots a turn, quick to fire at BS9.

Any anti-cannon advice with de?

Dark Lore, the spell Bladewind. 2d6 close combat attacks, which means you are rolling to wound against the crew rather than the cannon.

EDIT: And the Rending Star/Manbane Assassin is simply incredible.

@happygolucky: how do you suppose i get an assassin to the cannons?

You walk them

On a serious note though. You for the time being when you play you are proxying don't rush into buying models. Make loads of different lists using things YOU like and then narrow it down to between 3-5 pay them with your proxies and then find out which list you like or even which units you like the best. They once you have done that make a final list are the one you like the most then start buying models for them.

Only do this if you aren't sure what you want. Of course you can get the core models that you know you will be using first as no matter what you decide on the core will normally use the same troop choices maybe just variants in size and/or wargear.
