My guess would be that the league resets in the fall after taking a month or two off. I believe they have a tournament coming up in a few weeks. I'll ask about that when I'm there.

Had a great time yesterday, wish I could have met you DHD...I thought about swinging by during my lunch but I didn't get the chance.

Mat, fun game...I learned a lot about orks and their forcefields! Wish I could have put up stiffer resistance but it was still a good time. Can't wait for the rematch.

Death, I really appreciated how well you know the rules, made for the fastest 1500 pt game I've ever had. Maybe next time we play I'll actually get a chance to SHOOT with any of my 80 shooty Orks, instead of dying miserably in CC.

Coy, was a really great game. I was actually rolling more like Death was in our first game and the KFF really saved my butt!
Your army looks amazing already, and you aren't even done with it. I'll be happy to get some plans together for another session. We just need to work out the dates.
As I said before, weekends are always better for me, but I might be able to squeeze in a week night, though to be honest, it's going to be hard. I don't get off work till 5, and probably couldn't be to the shop till 7.

I have been looking for games on weekdays. Anyone up for a game night on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays at Karlequin's (30th, 1/2 block south of Pearl) or Gamer's Guild (Broadway, plaza north of Violate) in Boulder? If these venues don't work I am fairly flexible.

Hey guys. I'm wide open for the forseeable future. Fridays and Saturdays after 5 or 6 work best if it's Karl's since I'm already in Boulder for work. Otherwise it's a 40-45 min drive from Thornton, but I can do it.

Total Escape Games and Hobby Town are nearer to the mid-way point for me. TEG has Thur WH40K but I've never been. Fri they host a 40K gaming club that goes to Adepticon each year...one of the guys is a friend of a friend so I could ask if they mind others dropping in.

You already know about HT. I'll probably try a Thurs or two there to see if folks are friendly.

I should probably limit any weekday gaming to once or twice a month for the same reasons as Mat. Saturdays are unlimited because that day is already shot.

I really clicked with Mat so if you guys are the same type of players I'll definitely be down for more games.

Hazard, were you there for Mat & DHD's game or the one with me and Mat?

I'm locked down Thursday nights, as that's my wife's D&D game she runs for a couple of us, but I may be able to swing a Friday night at TEG (Right next to my friends place, who also plays 40k) Something starting at around 7 might work.

Hazard was there for the game that Death and I played.

I played at HT tonight against the Crimson Fists of the guy I mentioned in my previous post (they guy that normally plays on Fridays at TEG). It was "okay". About six people including the two of us, nice tables and terrain I must say but it was a little odd. The two of us on one side of the building and the other four way far away...hardly any interaction. I probably shouldn't have shown up with someone I know, but hey. They also toss you out at 9PM so you have to jam a 1500pt game in 3 hours...I'm too slow still. We started at 7 and were only through turn 3 when we had to pack it up.

I guess I'd go back if there weren't any other options. I hear on Saturdays they wrap up at 6PM so that's out for me.

Talking to the guy I know it sounds like friday at TEG is pick-up games after all but the tables fill by 6PM.

So for me I'm good with Sat after 5PM or Fri after 6PM...the rest of the week is looking 'meh'.

I live in Aurora and am just getting into 40k again with a few friends. Haven't finished my army yet (Imperial Guard) but when it's done, I'm down to play some games if you're interested. Let me know.

As an aside, is anyone planning on playing at Karl's this Saturday?

Normally I could be there but I have family in town so I'm headed out after work.

Me and a friend are putting together a 40k day on Sunday the 20th. If anyone wants to join in. We're planning on playing at my place, unless there are more who want to join. Then if we get enough we'll meet a Karl's.

How did it go? Those GK were looking ominous with that damn walker.

Oh, I tabled them; I lost one rhino to the GK. I used the lash of submission to shunt the dreadknight out of range every turn until I was ready to kill it. I won the tournament and got some kewl prizes: a box of terminators, a box of plague marines, and an Astorath the Grim model.
All in all a productive day!

Looks like my friend, the Vanilla/BA player will be joining us as well, so that's 5 players, maybe 6 if Doug brings his boy. Wow. Can't believe we'll have that many.
