There we go...finally got the drops pods about 80% built ( I think it's 80%...) 3 completed drop pods and 2 built just gotta add the plates on the doors and build the harnesses..they are all fully magnetized, I have 2 magnets at the end of each door that I will paint up as rotating lights and give it some OSL in quarters around the lights as if they are rotating...very excited to get to painting these....and the rest of the troops

Bro, I think your Ragnar is at least 20 times better than the official one. Love the rune priest, too. Good color choice.

it's funny...when you blow up the pic as big as it goes you see a pile of little hairs and flaws that you can't really see at all...unless you scrutinize...but thank you for the kind words...one bad thing...and this is the OCD talking...I can never use that pony haired head ever on any other model...but that leaves what...another 18? lol...suppose I could just paint it another color...but nah

is the new devlan mud like the old stuff?

Hey Willy,

got some news from Zsadist about your Devlan mud. He said it's better than the old stuff and if you wanted to try some out you could go to your nearest GW and they will let you try some for free.

Hope this helps mate

Take care

slick, I'll have to go pick some up tomorrow...if it varies between them it might be good to use on the pelts....since I'm only washing the gold down with devlan mud I shouldn't run out too quick

Really like the yellow on the shoulder pads. What you have done really makes them pop.

Sorry with the pause between posts, just working on the squad of 5 still...almost have another one finished...and I have something special I'm working on that I haven't shown on here...but I'll post a pic when it is ready to be painted...you guys are going to love this

oh I got my battlefoam case on friday! the drop pod foam is REALLY tight...I have to cut the little ribbed things from the side of the fins on my drop pods to be able to fit them in relatively easy...going to have to varnish the pods or I will lose paint off of them

I like it. He really fits the space wolf bill and is much more interesting looking than the same old Bjorn model. Nice job.

I see what you are saying about the cel shading, but I think it looks good.

I personally love weathered and realistic minis...Sotheby only thingthat would make em better would be oils and powders. But that's just me

suppose that is too much work for something I'm going to use....if anyone sees any tutorials on how to weather drop pods though let me know....I tried and failed at it so I might not bother
