good grief 6 baneblades????
It took me forever to put mine together. Not sure if I can put 6 of them together lol.
Chaos is one of the best armies to proxy in what ever you want which is why I love them daemons so far. All of the fantasy stuff can fill in as fancy replacements and it's all just part of the chaos god's whims. I personally use chaos knights in place of most of my calvery (seekers)/bikes. Hey, daemonic horses can run as fast as any bike!
Chaos lord on juggernaut is alot cooler than trying to put skulltaker on a juggernaut with a strange pose that didn't work that well. Alot of cool models work just fine as daemon princes. Just slap on some wings and you're in good shape.

I bought the Harlequin Death Jester when Finecast was released because I thought it looked amazing, and wanted a new Finecast model as a little desktop mascot
Unfortunately/fortunately I then got intrigued by it and decided I wanted to get a few more, had a little browse at the Dark Eldar and am now collecting a full army...

Yes, back when I didn't collect 40K (or rather, a 5 year break from it) I brought a Big Mek to have as a desk ornament- which then got me hooked on 40K again.

I recently picked up a bunch of models to convert into Ork bikers and Stormboyz, just so I could have them. Technically I do play Orks, but I knew from the start that I probably wouldn't be using 'em much, so it kinda counts.
Other than that, not really. Every model I've ever bought I bought for the express purpose of using it in-game. Even if I do have a lot of decorative models (because I found out after buying them that they kinda suck, or require bulk to not suck) I still bought them to use them.

I once bough a Leman Russ back when i played Dark Angels just because I liked it.
A year so so later I bought a chimera from a friend who was leaving the hobby because my Russ was lonely.
Then of coarse what is a chimer with out troops...you get the idea...
