What is the bloody point of this weapon? I know alot of gun freaks say that it would be for protection but dang it what could this weapon achieve in protection that a normal pistol cant?

Actually twinlinked gives you better accuaracy (shoot, miss, reroll miss). This gun would be a StormPistol, 2 shots both equal chance to hit or miss.

What do CSM have instead of Stormbolters again?

Combi-bolters.

Guns are implements of death, after all!

A single .45 can rip a hole in your head the size of a golf ball, depending on the situation. This would probably cause irreparable damage anywhere it hits, although I have no idea how tight the groupings would be, or how consistent you could get them.

Oh, I understand that. I'm just pointing out one of the appealing features of such a weapon.
Its probably the most lethal sidearm atm.

No, Id say a S&W .500 would make a much worse hole in something.

Ive already mentioned previously what the point of weapons like these are. Its to show off the capabilities of the company in question. Take the show Sons of Guns for example. Whats the point of the Gatling-shotguns they made? Or the Trimese assault rifles? There really isnt a good reason for weapons like that, outside of showing that you can do it. The thing is though, people will see those works of art, and think "well gak if they can make THIS, then they could make me a pretty sweet X weapon"

Cool but...Hmm. One piece slide for both barrels. So OK:

Pulling one trigger fires both shots. OK. Quite likely technically a machine gun in the US anyway (Fires more than one round with a single action of the trigger...But god knows what BATFE will do. Consistency is not exactly their forté.) ....What happens if one cartridge goes off, but the other cartridge is a hangfire or semi-hangfire? Great way to have a case rupture, I suppose.

Pulling one trigger fires one barrel. OK. So, when the slide slams backwards, it takes the unfired cartridge and kicks that out too?

....Really neat proof of concept, and they have it seemingly working OK, but I can't help but chuckle when I think about it.

Reminds me of the old double barrel .22 SMG prototypes. Tiny stormbolters.

Oh hell yea they make em
Ive heard that the pain it causes isnt really in the arms or wrists, its your hands that take the beating on those. But heres some pics to try and show the massivness that is the 500.
.500 on top, .44 magnum on bottom

.44 next to a rifle

Ammo comparison

And smaller sizes up to the 50

Serious ouch time that gun will do
