Nice paint scheme. I think I finally have an idea on the lobbas, just need to get to the hobby or DIY store to get the parts I need. Hope to have them finished this weekend.

I got really busy this weekend, then I forgot it was Easter today. So I did not even get the chance to work on the lobbas at all. Hopefully I can get out to the store tomorrow and find some materials to finish off this project.

I have been searching all over trying to find some material to use for my lobbas and came up empty handed. Started looking online for the styrene tube I needed but shipping was not worth it. It was looking like I would have to make the 45 minute drive to the only hobby shop that stocks styrene untill I came across some brass tubing from K&S. It was the perfect dimensions for what I was looking for so I picked it up. I started working on the lobbas yesterday and hope to have at least one done in the next day or so.

That's what I wanted to use, but hoped I could find something close by so I would not have to drive all the way out to the hobby store. The brass tube I used is the same dimensions as the evergreen so it workded out for what I wanted.

I looked all over home depot, lowes and even ace hardware. I wanted a 1/2" OD, and everything they had was ID, so it was just way too thick for what I wanted. Even thier thin wall pvc pipe was too thick, which was a shame because it is so inexpensive. I am almost done with the first one, just a few more details then rivits and I can just about call this build project done.
