Its only a national anthem and a mistake. If I was getting a medal and instead of playing the British national anthem they played a wrong version of it, say the Sex Pistols version of God Save the Queen, I would laugh my ass off.
Maybe so. It may be a little easier for you to take it lightly as you haven't been working your ass off for that moment of glory, then standing on that podium and having a joke song play. You're also from a country where you feel secure in its achievements and place in the world. Khazakstan is the subject of Borat's song because it's an out of the way, perceived-as-(and no doubt legimately, at least in some respects)-backwards place. A Khazakh athlete probably doesn't get a lot of chances to hear their anthem play in international events, so it may be a bigger deal to them. Maybe I'm overthinking it, though.
