The C'tan are very human, they have pride and ambition and that brought them into conflict with the more material races. But I agree, with what little we know about the C'tan one has to wonder why they didnt just run off.


In much the same way that humans will probably not rush off to claim saturn for ourselves, the C'tan could probably care less about earthlike worlds.
