this is so me. I've never had any trouble remembering which pot to clean my brushes in, but I've had so many hot drinks get cold and ice-cold drinks get warm because I put them to the side and then promptly forget about them for the next hour...

One of my mates got me a USB mug warmer for Christmas last year for that very reason. Awesome prezzie! Keeps my cuppa nice and hot for about 45mins or so!
