If it's possible, maybe a BM with razorwings... You won't get many at that points cost though it'd be worth some mathhammer to see if you'd benefit more from re-rolls on a raider that'll get shot down in the first couple of turns or rending on a smal numbers of attacks from a tiny unit :-S

I don't currently have a codex on me now but what would be the best idea for the points filler, would it defo to be going for better missiles or are the splinter racks the best way to go? problem is it doesn't benefit the splinter cannon guy.

You'll get a quicker pay off with missiles, though I don't think you can get many... many 1 shatterfield on each jetfighter, though iirc they're capable of levelling squads in one shot, but if they miss, they're gone. You do have good BS though so maybe its a risk worth taking.

Splinter racks are cracking, for 10 points you get to reroll upto 9 shots per turn (if one has SC). Do you get to rapid fire whilst onboard a transport? If so, that shoots up to a massive potential 18 rerolls per turn, per boat. Yeah it doesn't affect the SC but then a transport chucking out 16 - 26 (if rapid fire) poisoned shots excluding re-rolls per turn can't really complain!

Add night shields to get in close and frustrate your enemy. Especially handy against mid range armys such as GK's / other SM derivatives!

Giving NS + SR on 2 boats + drugs to your archon brings you to 45 points.

Play around with each one, you dont need the models, just use paper models to test which you like most before buying them, see which works for you and go from there!

It'll be up to 16 Shots per Raider as i have 1 Blaster and 1 Splinter Cannon, but yeah it does sound pretty beast and will defo help putting wounds on enemies and MC's when needed. You can rapid fire whilst on a transport.

Sounds like a good idea, I will edit the list when i next have the dex.

Also my friend did that idea, he had an army of Cardboard Raiders haha!

I could try SR on all 4 Raiders and then have the Drugs as opposed to the Nightshields, this will help me more against Horde armies etc but ill see what works out for me.

Cheers for the advice,
