I put "Discount Games Store" and "DiscountGamesStore" as the seller name on a search and it pulled up no such seller.

Got a link to their store?

That's kind of expensive. On BTown, you can get them between $10 and $15 shipped.

Not sure about bargain but I just recently got the 1st Edition Rogue Trader rulebook for $145AUD. Pissed me off a little bit because a few days earlier I had been bidding on one that would have gone for $90 but my internet went haywire when I got up at 6am to try and win the last bid. No matter, it's in pristine condition and it's a fantastic resource so I consider it a bargian.

I agree Discount Games Store is fantastic

You guys REALLY need to spend more time in the Swap Shop and on Bartertown.
That price is ridiculously high when compared to some of the prices I've seen on Dakka & BTown.

Well ya know I wanted to be able to post on this thread...so this morning... I usually nose around for eldar stuff every couple of days but with the weekend I didn't have a chance to. I came onto an auction that was just closing out. So for $110 USD (purchase and shipping to Cali) I got.

11 Swooping Hawks
14 Dire Avengers plus an unopened box
5 Rangers
5 Support Weapons
5 Dark Reapers
about 14-16 Guardians
11 Fire Dragons
FarSeer

I'm so very pleased because

I really wanted some Dark Reapers
and more Fire Dragons.
I needed one last box of DAs too.
The hawks make 3 full squads (although I'm not sure I'd use that many ever).
I've got the Farseer, but I previously lost his head. So yay.
I've never had the new Rangers.
and the guardians and support weapons always welcome.

It was kinda like someone read a wishlist of mine and decided to fill it. And none of it is FineCast (which I'm still leary about buying). Happy belated Easter!

THE FUN HAS BEEN DOUBLED!!!

I have tried bartertown and swap shop and im not sure whether it is the same for aussies, but everything I have received via trades from the US has come to me with an added £20 + fee slapped on by customs, this really takes the sheen off the deal alot of the time !!

I can see where that would hurt.
Sadly, it's because your trade partner didn't know how to take care of you while still being honest.
gaming stuff sent internationally should be called, "Used Toy Game [WXYZ]." Where it says [WXYZ], replace it with what you're sending; books, pieces, models, etc. The Key is to get USED, TOY and GAME in there. Those are typically fee free until you hit a certain value (which varies by country).
Nobody I've ever sent anything to has ever come back to me and said they got hit with fees, and I've sent hundreds of dollars worth of stuff at once. Especially in Canada & the UK, where it seems most prevalent.

It was the only one available at the time, therefore the guy selling it had no previous "this is 200 dollars" to match or only slightly undercut. So they put it at 30 bucks and I stumbled across it at about 2am, still hadn't sorted out an amazon account here since moving to the States, so I had to wake the wife to ask her to log in and purchase it. Fortunately she's a saint.

(and... it's in near mint condition...)

If your searching for bargains on ebay check for mis-spellings. I also collect rare paintball guns. I found a gun that originally retailed for over $3000 as a one of a kind custom for $175 shipped buy it now simply because the name was mis-spelled.

Having picked up two OOP models for abou 30% of their usual price, I have to agree with checking for misspelled or mislabeled models. That's 'of,' not 'off,' btw. Yes, the deal was great. $40 for $120 of OOP models.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

For the whole lot of course (read the stereotypical cheap Scottish bloke). I've found that they're a bit scattered about my house now. Last night I came upon issues from between 16 and 84 beneath my bed in a pile, so I'll assume the rest are elsewhere. However I'm thinking of keeping onto them for a good while for posterirty and ahem, profit (judging by the prices on ebay right now I've no reason to sell out just yet). ^^
