If your group is fine with Forgeworld, then swap the LRC for a Caestus Assault Ram! A large blast melta will definately take out some palidins. Thanks to its special rules, it can transport up to 10 terminators! I would always take the frag assault launchers with it as well.

That would require me to purchase one which I am not interested in doing right now lol. So I will stick with the LRC and the Mortis Dreads I think.

Darn, the CAR really is a beast. I need to find me a game where opponents are ok with me using it. I also need to finish painting mine.

One more question? Vs. Eldar? Switch the Mortis Dreads to something else and I am guessing run more LCs and SB/PF rather than TH/SS...

hmm, vs. Eldar. What kind of Eldar? spam wave serpents with 3 fire dragon squads, or footdar? My gf plays wraith-heavy footdar and I've found some good tactics against that. But I don't think you'll run into 20 wraithguard/ 3 wraithlords very often.

Naw I'm looking at 3 Fire dragon squads with dire avenger back up. I guess TH/SS would be most beneficial due to the AP1 on those fire dragons. Avengers in Serpents with Dragons in Falcons. Usually equipped with Bright Lances.

well if fire dragons and bright lances are abundant, you're right, TH/SS are gonna be your answer. Your LRs and Dreads will be targeted and go down quick. But if you place the TH/SS termies in front of the Dreads, the Fire Dragons won't be able to get a good shot on the Dread and haha!

I would start everyone on the board, use those CML's to take down/immobilise/stun those tanks, effectively cutting out the mobility of the Eldar.

Sit in the back, fire as much as you can at the tanks. Pull back make them come to you. (they will, fire dragons range is 12). Once they are that close, they are in CC range. where you will slaughter them.
But if you run forward, they will wait for you and gun you down. Make them come to you.
