I don't think it is an 'ardboyz replacement, but it should be interesting. I find the transfers rule odd too. I supose it could be some reginal rep who wants bragging rights about incremental transfer sales in their market area......

Not saying it's true, but the transfers issue could easily be gotten past by Nid players.
- Take large base monster
- Put dead Marines on his base as decoration
- Put transfers on each dead marine.
- Rinse and repeat.
- Win
It does sound like it would be an interesting event, though.
