BUT this is a commission and people pay for what they want. Like detailing, insignia, battle damage etc, etc. For that reason this is an awesome job.

I think some comments are treating this commision like its the best you can do and its difficult when giving opinions on somones work when you dont know the painting requirements of said commission were.

Nice Job.

This is also what i was trying to say. I hope I did't come off as too negative. I know that this is just a slight taste of what the artist is capable of.

I'ts a very nice army my only issues are the tanks weathering style is not my favorite to me it just says "i was having fun with my airbrush" not "i weathered these tanks in a way that makes sense" like the browns on the middle of the tracks just the middle in a nice neat line and behind smoke launchers some brown streaks just doesn't look to me like carbon scaring or soot or anything besides brown on your green. sorry just my opinion on it that being said space marine vehicles aren't easily weathered

The terminators look boring to me just totally flat or unfinished.

I like the lava bases they are cool enough but would greatly benefit from some osl work imo.

the over all green to me looks terribly flat aswell mainly because you used such a bright vibrant green that highlighting it with anything other than a light light light brown or beige is impossible a darker green just slightly darker would have allowed a lot more room for depth

the faces and other black parts are super flat as well again a dark dark grey would be a better base to get a "black" look with out actualy being black and not looking grey at the same time allowing depth.

also theres a dusting of green over spray on the rear track of the land raider.

over all it's a great looking army keep it up
I also recommend letting us know what the goal was in the post because if you dont we can only assume there was no limit and are left to wonder if it was left out because you didnt feel like doing it or because it was requested.

So many METAL BAWKSES!

I like it. Tabletop, but no GD winner.

It seems alot of comments were about the lack of icons on various models. A simple explanation is that we have a price guide which has a base price, and the client decides how much he wants to add to that, if at all.

Thanks for the comments and criticisms.

thats actually a good reason. kind of figured it was a commission or a piece for sale.
the actual color scheme, while vibrant, is a little to bright for me, as i like to think of the salamanders as a very grim chapter. then again, i guess thats up to the buyer. i really like the speed details (the dark streaks) i think those really give an feeling of fast movement.

overall personal opinion;
i'd like to see more contrast in the armor plates or an edge highlight to define them better
really vibrant color scheme but a bit to bright for my taste
i LOVE the rust effect on the boltguns and engine parts
i think the terminator weapons, paired with the weapons the 2 characters are a bit plain (can be the wish of the client, i dont know, its just something i miss)
yay, lava bases! this is almost mandatory for a salamander army, and i guess its easy to do with an airbrush, but still they look good. a little bit of OSL will look good though

idk what painting standard this is for you, but i'd give it an 7.5-8 out of 10

another great army churned out at the hands of Next Level Painting (credit to whoever is behind that airbrush). Love the bright green of the army, the speeders look real nice. Obviously, many details have not been painted, but I really dont think that is something that you focus on anyway....im sure you could if you needed to. Fantastic work!
